Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice has dismissed first degree arson charges against Justin Bruno, who had been accused of attacking a home in Baldwin with Molotov cocktails.
Bruno’s attorney, William S. Petrillo of Rockville Centre , said that while the district attorney’s office believed Bruno was present while his brother and two others threw the lit bottles into the home, there was no evidence that Bruno, 20 of Seaford , took part in the crime. The others all pleaded guilty to their roles in the crime said Eric Phillips, a spokesman for Rice.
“Justin is pleased that his nightmare has been put to rest,” Petrillo said. – ANN GIVENS
